WASHINGTON -- The Washington Capitals have released their 2012 charity calendar benefiting the Washington Animal Rescue League.
The 2012 Caps Canine Calendar features players -- including the appropriately-named Jay Beagle -- posing alongside dogs. Some are the players' own dogs; other pups are up for adoption. Fans will be happy to see injured Caps Mike Green and Matt Hendricks in the calendar, looking healthy.
The calendars will be sold for $20 at Caps home games and at the team store at Kettler Capitals Iceplex in Ballston. All proceeds benefit the Washington Animal Rescue League.
